Do I Need Braid Maintenance?

Would you like your braids and natural hair to stay maintained while braided?

Of course you do. If your braids receive healthy maintenance during your 2 to 3 month wear you will notice more growth when you take your style down. Many women know that braids have the ability to grow whether the hair is properly treated during the braid wear or not but regular maintenance is what will separate your hair from unhealthy growth and healthy growth. We are looking for strong, healthy strands full of nutrients and healthy ends when we remove our braids.

Being on a "Braid Maintenance Program" or routine is VITAL for your hairs health and growth rate.
We know that essential oils, cleansers, conditioners and hair tools are can grow EXPENSIVE.
Maintenance take a fair amount of TIME but if hair is not dryed properly, it can create an odor.
Routine braid maintenance is IMPORTANT to prevent itchy/ dry scalp and promote hair growth.

What Braid Maintenance Plan Is BEST For You?

Depends on your monthly budget vs. the time you have available (every client is different).
It may take 5 or 6 hours of maintenance at home vs. 2 hours of In- Salon Maintenance
It may take 10 dollars worth of product and tools vs 25 dollars for In-Salon Service

If you are on a strict time schedule and do not have a strict budget, Weekly Visits are Recommended. Your braids will always look fresh, your hair will be healthy at take down and your hair will grow quickly.
If you are on average time and financial budget, Bi-Weekly Visits are Recommended. Your braids will be kept up and any other needs can be expressed at home.
If you are on a strict budget but have a lot of time available at home, Monthly Visits are recommemnded or just Retouches. Retouching the edges of your braids 1 month to 1 1/2 months is very important to life of your edges. When your edges hang too low and go through regular tension they tend to pull.

Bi-Weekly Regimen - $30 per Session (Cleansing Bi-Weekly and Retouch Monthly)
