Both styles take 5 to 7 hours to create. When someone is install twist onto your hair it is helpful to hold the braid at least half way.

It may take 5 or 6 hours of maintenance at home vs. 2 hours of In- Salon Maintenance

If you are on a strict time schedule and do not have a strict budget, Weekly Visits are Recommended. Your braids will always look fresh, your hair will be healthy at take down and your hair will grow quickly.

If you are on average time and financial budget, Bi-Weekly Visits are Recommended. Your braids will be kept up and any other needs can be expressed at home.

If you are on a strict budget but have a lot of time available at home, Monthly Visits are recommemnded or just Retouches. Retouching the edges of your braids 1 month to 1 1/2 months is very important to life of your edges. When your edges hang too low and go through regular tension they tend to pull.
